Where we shed our shame and return to the sacred story within.
This returning is sacred.
A portal where you will unravel layers of internalized shame that have held you captive and reconnect with your body as a loving, sovereign sister.
Through the Inner Body Wisdom mentorship offerings, you’ll learn to step away from external expectations, attune to the innate, ancestral wisdom held in your body, and cultivate a deeper understanding of your needs and desires as
holy and sacred messengers.
Reorienting from
psychotherapy to mentorship
Meet Laurel
As a deeply passionate advocate for body sovereignty, I've spent over 18 years helping hundreds of women alchemize the shame that has kept them hidden from truly living their life.
It has become increasingly clear that my purpose on this planet is to empower women to experience their body as THE source of connection, joy and pleasure during this one short and precious life.
We are not objects to be controlled, fixed, or manipulated.
We are living Soul in a vibrant and miraculous flesh body and she (our body) has been waiting for us to come home.
Let’s walk home - together.
Laurel’s Triune
Nearly all of Laurel’s clients have heard her speak of the triangle—three pillars that hold and guide this work:
Compassion, Grace, and Patience
Many women have spent a lifetime gathering layers of self-doubt, self-minimization, and self-abandonment. Healing does not ask us to rush, though we do not need to wait to begin returning home to ourselves. Each experience here is designed to hold you within these pillars—Compassion, Grace, and Patience—while tending to the knowing that it is your time to return to the Truth of who you are.

EMBRACE YOUR SOVEREIGNTY

Frequently asked questions
-
This space is for people living in a female body who are ready to go deeper than traditional healing models.
You may have already been in therapy or recovery work and are now longing for something more—more embodiment, more truth, more connection to your body and inner voice.
This is for the woman who is ready to invest in herself on a Soul level.
Who feels the pull toward remembering, not just managing.
Who is willing to engage, explore, and take responsibility for her own unfolding. -
This is not a fit if you are:
+ Currently in an acute eating disorder crisis
+ Actively engaging in significant self-harm or experiencing suicidal ideation
+ Needing a higher level of care or clinical containment (i.e., treatment team, intensive outpatient, inpatient support)
+ Looking for a quick fix or step-by-step program to “solve” your body or food struggles
There is deep respect for those spaces—and they are essential when needed. This mentorship is not a replacement for that level of care.
-
No—this is not psychotherapy.
Inner Body Wisdom is a mentorship space, not a clinical treatment model. Because of this, I do not accept insurance.
Insurance requires diagnosis, medicalization, and a framework that is not in alignment with the intention of this work. This space is rooted in wholeness—not pathology.
That said, I am committed to accessibility.
Sliding scale and income-based options are available on a limited, case-by-case basis, with intention to support marginalized communities and women of color. -
Traditional recovery often focuses on behavior change and symptom reduction.
This work honors that foundation—but goes further.
Here, we explore the deeper layers:
the cultural narratives, the inherited shame, the disconnection from the body, and the silencing of the feminine voice. This is not about fixing your relationship with food.
It is about transforming your relationship with your body, your truth, and your life. -
No.
This is not about weight, control, or reshaping your body.
This is about returning to your body as sacred, whole, and inherently worthy—exactly as it is.
-
There are multiple ways to enter this work, depending on your needs and readiness:
1:1 Mentorship (3-month)– Personalized, intimate support
Combination of virtual, In-person (if local or willing to travel) and personalized phone support
12-Month Immersive – Deep, sustained and paced transformation over time
Virtual with 4 quarterly in-person immersive experiences
In-Person Group Initiations (7-week containers)– Circle-based, experiential work
Each offers a different depth and rhythm, but all are rooted in the same philosophy of remembrance and return.
-
Yes—to a degree.
If you have an existing therapist, dietitian, or provider, I am open to light coordination to support your experience.
However, this is not a full treatment team model.
If you require intensive coordination or clinical oversight, a higher level of care would likely be a better fit at this time. -
No—but you do need to be resourced and stable enough to engage in this work.
This space requires presence, willingness, and a capacity for self-responsibility.
If you are unsure, we can explore together whether this is the right time for you.
-
I bring nearly two decades of experience as a psychotherapist working intimately with women and eating recovery.
I understand—deeply—the complexity of living in a female body in this culture.
You will be held in a space that is both grounded and expansive:
where your nervous system is respected, your story is honored, and your truth is invited forward. -
No.
This is a process of unwinding, remembering, and re-weaving.
It asks for your presence, your honesty, and your devotion.
And in return, it offers something far more sustainable than a quick fix:
a relationship with yourself that is rooted in truth. -
If something in you feels a quiet (or loud) resonance…
if you sense that your healing is asking for something deeper…That is often where we begin.
