Return to the Sacred Story Within
remembering the roots of your body’s home
Sacred Sister,
welcome to this
container of returning.
Returning to the roots of our body’s home. A place to remember our soul’s journey before we were told who we were.
Before learning that we were born sinful.
Before learning to be ashamed of the body we were born in.
Before being told that there are steps to worthiness.
Inner Body Wisdom walks us home.
Mentorship Offerings
Every offering here has been shaped by the lived experiences of the women Laurel has supported over the past 18 + years—rooted in their grief, their healing, and the wisdom that emerged along the way.
Together, we gently unweave generations of conditioning that taught women their bodies were the problem to solve, control, or transcend. Here, we stop pathologizing what culture has spoon-fed us to believe about ourselves and begin remembering the body as wise, trustworthy, and wholly deserving of reverence.
It’s not group therapy. It’s a weaving of the themes that have repeatedly surfaced over 18 years of female-centered psychotherapy and made into sacred circles of returning.
Individualized support to unravel the painful influence of diet culture and reclaim the body that you live in as sacred, whole, and complete - exactly as it is.
A wholistic invitation toward body reclamation through somatic embodiment, expressive arts, womb wisdom, embodied writing, and Ayurvedic insight.
Reclaiming your essence through the teachings of Mary Magdalene and other feminine archetypes throughout history to navigate your own consciousness evolution.
Meet the woman holding space for your return.
I’m Laurel Ann. Informed by nearly two decades as a psychotherapist, I offer immersive mentorship for women ready to heal their relationship with food, remember the wisdom of their body, and return home to themselves.
I am an advocate for women ready to dismantle the harms of diet culture and internalized patriarchy, reclaiming their body's Truth in service of a life lived with presence, joy, and pleasure.
Committed to unraveling the feminine shame woven through generations, my work invites women into relationship with their sacred nature, awakening from the amnesia that has kept us from remembering who we truly are and restoring a relationship with the body.
She (our body) has never been a problem to solve, but a sweet sister calling us home.

healing journey.

This is not a fit if you are:
+ Currently in an acute eating disorder
+ Actively engaging in significant self-harm or experiencing suicidal ideation
+ Needing a higher level of care or clinical containment (i.e., treatment team, intensive outpatient, inpatient support)
+ Looking for a quick fix or step-by-step program to “solve” your body or food struggles
There is deep respect for those spaces—and they are essential when needed. This mentorship is not a replacement for that level of care.
-
No—this is not psychotherapy.
Inner Body Wisdom is a mentorship space, not a clinical treatment model. Because of this, I do not accept insurance.
Insurance requires diagnosis, medicalization, and a framework that is not in alignment with the intention of this work. This space is rooted in wholeness—not pathology.
That said, I am committed to accessibility.
Sliding scale and income-based options are available on a limited, case-by-case basis, with intention to support marginalized communities and women of color. -
Traditional recovery often focuses on behavior change and symptom reduction.
This work honors that foundation—but goes further.
Here, we explore the deeper layers:
the cultural narratives, the inherited shame, the disconnection from the body, and the silencing of the feminine voice. This is not about fixing your relationship with food.
It is about transforming your relationship with your body, your truth, and your life. -
No.
This is not about weight, control, or reshaping your body.
We will reveal ‘why’ these narratives have intentionally infiltrated our psyche, however…
This is about returning to your body as sacred, whole, and inherently worthy—exactly as it is.

Yes—to a degree.
If you have an existing therapist, dietitian, or provider, I am open to light coordination to support your experience.
However, this is not a full treatment team model.
If you require intensive coordination or clinical oversight, a higher level of care would likely be a better fit at this time. -
No—but you do need to be resourced and stable enough to engage in this work.
This space requires presence, willingness, and a capacity for self-responsibility.
If you are unsure, we can explore together whether this is the right time for you.
-
I bring nearly two decades of experience as a psychotherapist working intimately with women in eating recovery.
I understand—deeply—the complexity of living in a female body in this culture.
You will be held in a space that is both grounded and expansive:
where your nervous system is respected, your story is honored, and your truth is invited forward. -
No.
This is a process of unwinding, remembering, and re-weaving.
It asks for your presence, your honesty, and your devotion.
And in return, it offers something far more sustainable than a quick fix:
a relationship with yourself that is rooted in Truth. -
If something in you feels a quiet (or loud) resonance…
if you sense that your healing is asking for something deeper…That is often where we begin.
